Known issue on Android 9 (Pie): Starting from Android 9 Pie, Android prevents background app from accessing microphone for privacy reason. To work around that, WO Mic will request screen to be always ON. You should NEVER turn off screen manually to make phone sleep; otherwise, you will notice mutation which will restore to normal once you turn ON screen again.
The connection between PC and Android phone can be via Bluetooth, USB, or WiFi.
